MEET THE OWNER

Brett Kemper

Founder & Owner

I grew up in Frisco, Texas, and now call Baton Rouge and College Station home. My first visit to Baton Rouge in 2019 included my first LSU football game. I fell in love with the place, and I’m now pursuing a double major in marketing and management with strategic leadership at LSU.

What keeps me coming back to this work is seeing a property change—and seeing the owner’s reaction. Lawn restorations are a favorite because the first improvement can be dramatic, then the results keep developing with time and care.

When you text or email Precision Property Services, you’re talking directly with me. I personally complete and oversee most residential jobs. For bigger projects, I work with a team, and when a task needs expertise beyond my own, I bring in another small local business.

HOW IT STARTED

Two lawns. Twenty dollars each.
A reason to keep going.

At 11, I started mowing my parents’ lawn for $20 a week. About a month later, new neighbors moved in, and I began mowing their lawn for another $20. I learned that I loved the work. It was satisfying, it felt meaningful, and I never looked back.

When my family moved to Prosper, I started my first official business, Lineman Lawn Care. I sold it when I left for college, then started a window washing business to help pay my way through school.

After transferring to LSU in 2024, I started Baton Rouge Surface Pros to keep doing the work I loved. In summer 2026, I began building a life in College Station and launched Aggieland Surface Solutions. Precision Property Services brought those skills and experiences together under one name, serving both communities.

Each business taught me how much there is still to learn. Projects require creativity, flexibility, planning, and a backup plan when materials, equipment, or logistics change. I’ve learned to work through those challenges and see the job through.
